    Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1350 meters) and transfer to hotel.

    Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation.

    Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 meters), trek to Phakding (2640 meters).

    Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters).

    Day 05: Exploration and acclimatization day.

    Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengbuche (3870 meters).

    Day 07: Trek from Tengbuche to Dingbuche (4360 meters).

    Day 08: Hike Around for exploring and acclimatization.

    Day 09: Trek from Dingbuche to Lobuche (4940 meters).

    Day 10: Trek from Lobuche-Gorakshep (5170 meters)-hike to Everest base camp (5364 meters) and descend to Gorakshep.

    EBC Trek-Flight Info

    Normally, the flight to Lukla back and forth used to be operated from the Kathmandu-Kathmandu route. But, it's been a couple of years that the flights have been operating from Manthali airport of Ramechhap to Lukla back and forth. It takes about 4 hours from a road drive to reach there.

    About Food and Accommodation on EBC Trekking

    From typical Nepali cuisine- Dal Bhat Tarkari (Rice, Lentil, Curry) to the Indian and continental items are served on the EBC trekking route as there are hotels and restaurants even of high standards. Thenthuk, Momo, Soup, Chapati, pizza, chowmein, and other items are popular with the trekkers.

    Accommodation varies on the EBC trail. Even the general lodges provide clean rooms with clean beds with enough blankets. You can enjoy dinner in the warm dining hall, but you need to pay separately for a hot shower, wifi, and battery charge. If you are ready to pay more, hotels with attached toilets are also available.

    Best Seasons for the EBC Trekking

    Generally, there are two amazing seasons:

    Spring: March to May (flower blooming season, clear weather)

    Autumn: September to November (festival season, clear sky)

    If you can tolerate a bit colder, trekking in December and January, you will get the best Himalayan views and a great time walking through the traffic-free trail.
