Hundred thousands of people visit this temple every year in search of salvation as the literal meaning of the temple (Mukti= Salvation, Nath= God). There are two little ponds in front of the temple and 108 water spouts on its back. The best Himalayan views of Mount Tilicho Peak, Annapurna III, II, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Yakwakang can be seen amazingly from this spot.

Road Condition: Pokhara to Beni Jomsom and Muktinath

By 2023, the condition of the road to Jomsom Muktinath was worse. After 2024, we can see a lot of improvement on the road, especially in the landslides section. However, it is recommended that you use a 4WD Jeep, because sometimes there may arise some unprecedented rainfall or the water level rise. In Monsoon, it is a must to use a 4WD vehicle.
