    Everest Base Camp Charity Trek is a socially responsible trek that you contribute to society along with the adventure experience. The trek begins from Lukla, it goes through the Sherpa valleys of the Khumbu region. Sherpa people are world-renowned Himalayan leaders, who were born in the Himalayas. Tibetan Buddhist culture has been flourishing in Khumbu during trekking, you can explore colorful monasteries and chhortens. Various destinations are there for yoga and meditation.     Itinerary

    • Day 01

      Arrival at Kathmandu (1350 meters) and transfer to hotel.

      On your arrival in Kathmandu, our representatives pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing is given after a short refreshment. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 02

      Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation.

      Enjoy Kathmandu sightseeing that is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa. After the sightseeing tour, you prepare for the upcoming trek. 

    • Day 03

      Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 meters), walk to Phakding (2640 meters).

      Drive from the hotel to the airport, the guide will assist you with this. 

      Kathmandu-Lukla: 25 minutes Himalayan flight

      Managing the luggage, start the trek through the fields, and communities, above the Dudh Koshi River and cross the bridge. The first night will be at Phakding. Overnight at the hotel. 

       

    • Day 04

      Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters).

      Trek begins after breakfast. 

      Crosses a couple of suspension bridges.

      Enter into the Sagarmatha National Park from Jorsalle. 

      A gradual and continuous walk leads you to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.

    • Day 05

      Exploration and acclimatization day.

      Explore Namche Bazar and its vicinity. 

      - Hike to Everest View Hotel

      - Explore Khumjung village

      - Khunde hospital

      - Hillary school

      An extra day stay at Namche Bazar helps you to adapt to the high altitude while walking above 3400 meters altitude. Altitude adaptation makes breathing easy and avoids high-altitude sickness. 

    • Day 06

      Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengbuche (3870 meters).

      Begin the trek after having breakfast. 

      - Pass Tenzing Norgay Memorial Stupa

      - Take a break at Kyangjuma

      - Gradual uphill route

      - view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Taboche, Kangtega and Thamserku

      - Lunch at Phunke Tenga (3250 meters)

      - Climb all the way to Tengboche (3860 meters)

    • Day 07

      Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche.

      - Pass Debuche and Milingo

      - Lunch point Somare (4010 meters)

      - Gradual walk as the altitude increases

      - The route above the Imja Khola leads all the way to the windswept village of Dingboche. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 08

      Exploration day.

      Exploration day at Dingboche is also known as acclimatization day. 

      You have the option to hike either till Chhukung or hike to the Nagerjun peak

      The best view of Mt. Makalu, Lhotse, and Island Peak can be explored from the peak. Then hike down to Dingboche and take a rest. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 09

      Trek from Dingbuche to Lobuche (4940 meters).

      With acclimatization, begin the hike from Dingboche via Dusa and reach all the way to Thukla. Having lunch, commence the trek through the trail dominated by the tombstones of the Everest climbers, who passed away during their expedition. Crossing the Thukla Pass(4830 meters), head gradually to Lobuche. Overnight at the hotel. 

       

    • Day 10

      Trek from Lobuche-Gorakshep (5170 meters)-hike to Everest base camp (5364 meters) and descend to Gorakshep.

      Heading from Lobuche is quite challenging due to the thin-air region. Via Lobuche Pass (5110 meters), reach Gorakshep at lunchtime. You put your belongings at the hotel and begin the hike towards Everest base camp. A steady walk through the alpine territory is quite challenging enough. The best view of the top of the world, Mt. Everest (8848.86 meters) cherish the day. Then trek back to Gorakshep. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 11

      Hike to Kalapatthar (5550 meters), trek down to Gorakshep and to Pheriche (4280 meters).

      An early morning hike to Kalapatthar offers the best sunrise view over the magical Everest Himalayan chain. 

      Trek back to Gorakshep and have breakfast. 

      The downhill trail leads you all the way via Lobuche, Thukla, and finally to Pheriche. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 12

      Trek from Pheriche to Kyangjuma (3550 meters).

      Begin the downhill trek after breakfast

      Pass through Pangboche and Tengboche

      Lunch at Phunke Tenga

      Stretch the trek up to Kyangjuma. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 13

      Trek from Kyangjuma to Monju (2835 meters). 4-5 hours.

      Hike down gradually with the remarkable Himalayan views at the backdrop

      Pass through Namche Bazar

      Gradually hike down and check out from Sagarmatha National Park

      Enjoy the overnight stay at Monjo. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 14

      Trek from Monju to Lukla. 4-5 hours.

      Begin the trek after breakfast

      Pass through bengkar

      Cross Phakding

      Walk through the gentle route all the way to Lukla. Overnight at the hotel.

    • Day 15

      Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu.

      A 35-minute flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. 

      Transfer to the hotel. 

      Relax and explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 16

      Bhaktapur and Patan sightseeing, farewell dinner.

      Historical palaces with medieval structures- Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square are UNESCO-listed world heritage sites. Enjoy the tour and explore the mysteries of the medieval era of Nepal. Then back to the hotel. A farewell dinner is organized in the evening. Overnight at the hotel. 

    • Day 17

      Departure.

      You will be dropped at the airport by our airport representative. Looking forward for another trip soon.
